Roger Waters’ Inflatable Pig Lost at Coachella… Then Found In Pieces

Posted April 30th, 2008 by admin

After Waters' performance at Coachella Sunday, his floating pig prop that trademarks the anti-capitalist Pink Floyd album, Animals, drifted away into the night. The pig — tall as a two-story building and as two school buses — had an award of 10 Grand for its safe return.

Instead, it ended up in shreds in nearby residents' front yards. In all of its appearances, the pig has had slogans — lately anti-bush or anti-war — written all over it. This one had a pro-Obama slogan on it.

Perhaps the destruction of the pig was part of the Clinton campaign (I wouldn't put it past Hillary).

The lucky residents who woke up in the morning to shredded pig balloon on their property will split the award money.
