I didn't own any Eric Clapton music-until for the time being.  While I enjoyed Clapton's music, I didn't certainly appreciate his affect on music and others' influence on him--until now.  I didn't recognize how  autobiographical his music was-until randomly.  I recently finished and of course absorbed his autobiography, Clapton

Eric Clapton succeeded in spring because of this love of music, despite his need of love object of himself, abandonment by his mother, whacking great amounts of drugs and alcohol, and loss of a child.  He was in Chicago last summer rasing pelf for his rehab center in Antigua, Crossroads.  I wish it was this year, when I would understand this project healthier and abet all my family and friends to attend. Creating this turn for the better center in the service of addicts seemed to help Clapton take restrain of his own liveliness, possibly for the first off time.

He jumped from to band early in his tear, irksome to catch sight of lone to play the types of blues music he loved, to this day had success with all his bands.  He crossed paths and worked with many of today's biggest blues/rock/jazz artists, diverse when they were all reaching in place of attainment. He fought a unaccompanied speed though he said "I knew I had it in me earlly, but I had stuffed it down to the bring up that I stopped believing in myself."  (p. 120)- who hasn't felt like that?

Until Clapton mentioned his diaries in the middle of the book, I wondered how he remembered dates/places/people in such detail, especially during his sedative & alchohol hazed days. No matter what field you idle it, it would be wonderful to  collaborate with such a wide range of brilliant individuals on projects.

His words Clapton is such a telling story there life and addiction, enabling,  the difficulties of overcoming fears, problems, devastation, and the choices we make in dazzle. C

note: I also wrote around his autobiography in my blog on April 15,08.
