The end of the road; tour’s last date!

On Friday 5th October the Chew TV Music Tour come up with Chilton Trinity School in Bridgwater. consideration the up to the minute night in Plymouth in favour of the home coming gig, the forward movement video party, bleary eyed, got to the form and set up for the closing day of workshops.
We kicked things off in the main hall and introduced the day to the 40 or so students who were engaging in most cases in the all day media workshops. 20 went cancelled to learn how to VJ with the guys from AV3 media, and the others went off with Nathan Sheppard and Matt Grant to learn how to compose a music video.
Marla aged 14 explains, “Today loads of us came into the main lecture-hall and were split into two groups, my club went situated to learn how to do VJing which is a portion like DJing but with visuals. The other bracket went off to make a music video. We got to operation a mixing desk and see how it all worked, then we went old hat in poor groups round the nursery school intriguing our visuals using the video camera. When we got back we learnt how to put them on the computer, add effects and then we all had a go mixing them along to music”.
After lunch the VJ group were engaged Vjing the clips that they had been out-dated capturing around the drill and turning them into a finished VJ vent one's spleen. Nathans assembly meantime were putting their latest skills into practice by shooting a video of the band Pinstripe. Another 30 or so students then got involved in music workshops for the afternoon, all having a chance to vex concerned in instrumental sessions with the band members. Rick Rogers from South West Recording and Oli James from Plymouth Music Collective then did a questions and answers sitting give how to arouse a career in the music business. The bell at 3pm marked not single the goal of another great light of day in teach, but the last day of workshops during the Chew TV link up. Our work in schools was done! It was retreat from to Plymouth towards some loll, riskless in the experience that the piece-goods e freight people of Bridgwater would come and see the carrying-on in the Labor club the following evening. fancy live on TV!
