Meeting People on the internet

Don't worry I've not been reduced to attending those orgies in car parks... yet. After paper writing duties prevented my friend from going to see CSS & The Pipettes Cancer Research Gig, I ended up going with people from the Pipettes forum. To be honest, I was very worried I'd end up with bunch of lunatics with encyclopedic knowledge of the bands every move. Alas, they all turned out to be a warm, friendly, jovial bunch with encyclopedic knowledge of the bands every move.

The gig itself was bit of a mixed bag. The Pips and CSS were amazing. The Holloways and The Wombats were sub-par and the crowd were mostly 14 and obnoxious. Apparently the Pips were jet-lagged from their big US tour so I didn't get to meet them afterwards(again). Here are some photos stolen from the forum because I have the worst indoor camera in the world.

I wish I had a digital SLR camera so I could take decent pics in low lighting. Anyone have 800euro spare?
