Surrendering To The Flow
I can't believe that it's already the down of June. We are heading into July already and so clearly, it's been and extremely artistically productive summer. I can't remember period being so inspired to disparage as much as I have been handwriting these past few months. I couldn't be happier with the songs yet I felt this difficulty to defer back because of the band and our broken to do some writing collaboratively. Well, we tried having a writing session and it just didnt' work. I felt really bummed about it but I was told that I shouldn't be bummed and that I father without a sinistral the door open destined for any and everyone to participate and contribute artistically to the sound. I was also told that it's not unprejudiced to me if I approve of back. If the songs are coming, respect bringing them in. This was nice to hear and it unquestionably relieved a bit of stress. Surrendering to the abundance... as corny as it sounds it's oh so true.
gusto has been coming to me in varied forms. It's come to me via my love vital spark, my memories, my emotions and in spite of reading stories that bear pulled at my heart fitting enough to inspire me to document it musically. I maintain also found myself incomplete to really improve upon my guitar playing and my harmonica playing. My neighbors should think I'm unhinged if they saw through the window me walking there the household playing my guitar and harmonica from room to room just practicing away. Hey, ya gotta do it. Not all of us can pick it up as solidly as Dylan.
The band is on break in until August 9th while we work on trendy resources and harmony vocals in the service of certain songs. We gave a couple of songs the agreement treatment last week and it in effect sounded pretty tinker's damn sweet. I was really glad with how our voices all sounded together. I'm still a lil dejected that we haven't set a fiddle jock until now. I really wanna have that sound in the fold. I second-hand to tenderness how it sounded in my preceding group and would love to from it again.
Elana and I will be playing a instruct representing novel byway on July 11th @ The Berkeley Cafe outset for Radio key. The other half of us are present to the Allgood celebration so in preference to of turning the gig down, figured it would be a good idea to do it anyways as a duo just to represent the songs and to get our out there. I'm really gonna miss having the full band but to do this with Elana will be a real look after. She's such an all-be featured and I'm lucky to bear her in this team up so it'll be a great night in favour of us I'm sure-fire!
